Loving Hands of Reiki

Helping stressed people, that struggle with staying in the present moment, to live a calmer, more productive life.

My Reiki Journey & What to Expect During Your Reiki Treatment

I am deeply grateful to be here today. Years ago, I received the extraordinary gift of a liver transplant. That gift allowed me to watch my children grow into wonderful men, and it inspired a promise I made to Spirit: if I were given the chance to raise my children, I would spend my life giving back the love I had received.
Finding Reiki became the way I could fulfill that promise.
There was a time when my life felt overwhelming as I balanced two jobs, raised my children as a single mother, and cared for my home. I was constantly doing and rarely had a moment to simply breathe. Reiki brought me something I hadn’t experienced in years—peace.
Through regular practice, I became calmer, more centered, and found a new way of living with balance and hope. Reiki became more than a practice for me; it became a way of reconnecting with myself and creating moments of stillness in a very busy world.
Today, it is my privilege to share Reiki with others.

What Is Reiki?

Reiki is a gentle energy practice that works with the body’s natural energy centers, helping to encourage balance and deep relaxation. Many people experience Reiki as a peaceful opportunity to slow down, release everyday tension, and reconnect with themselves.
My goal is to create a safe, welcoming space where you can pause, breathe, and simply be.
Whether you are seeking relaxation, emotional balance, spiritual growth, or simply a moment of peace, you are welcome here. It would be an honor to be part of your Reiki journey.

What to Expect During a Chair Reiki Treatment

A chair Reiki treatment is a gentle and relaxing experience. You remain fully clothed and comfortably seated in a specially designed chair. There is no need to lie down or change clothing.
Before we begin, I will take a few moments to help you become comfortable and explain what you can expect. You are encouraged to make yourself comfortable, close your eyes if you wish, and allow yourself to settle into the experience.
During the treatment, I will gently place my hands on or slightly above different areas of the body, depending on your comfort level and the type of treatment being provided. Reiki is traditionally offered through the practitioner’s hands as a gentle flow of universal life energy.
The treatment is quiet and peaceful, allowing you time away from the demands of everyday life.
You do not have to do anything or try to make anything happen. Simply breathe, relax, and allow yourself to receive.
Everyone experiences Reiki differently. During a treatment, you may notice a feeling of warmth, coolness, tingling, lightness, or gentle sensations moving through the body. Some people feel deeply relaxed, while others may experience a sense of emotional release or peacefulness. You may notice very little physically and still find the experience calming and restorative.
There is no right or wrong way to experience Reiki. Every treatment is unique to the person receiving it.

Virtual Reiki Visits

Reiki can also be experienced virtually, allowing you to receive a peaceful Reiki session from the comfort and privacy of your own home.
During a virtual visit, we connect through a video call. I will guide you through the beginning of the session and help you create a comfortable, quiet space where you can relax. You can sit or lie down wherever you feel most comfortable.
Once you are settled, I will guide you into a relaxed state and begin the Reiki session from a distance. You do not need to do anything other than breathe, relax, and allow yourself to receive the experience.
A virtual session can be especially comforting when you would prefer to stay home or simply want to create a peaceful moment within your own familiar surroundings.
Just as with an in-person session, every virtual Reiki experience is unique. You may notice warmth, tingling, relaxation, peacefulness, or simply a sense of being still and present.
You don’t have to be in the same room to create a meaningful moment of peace.

After Your Treatment

After your Reiki session, you may feel deeply relaxed, peaceful, centered, or refreshed. Some people describe feeling as though their mind has become quieter or that they have been able to let go of some of the tension they were carrying.
Others may simply notice that they feel calmer and more present.
Because every person responds differently, your experience may change from one treatment to another. You may feel energized and renewed, or you may feel like continuing to rest and enjoy the peaceful feeling.
I encourage you to take a few quiet moments after your treatment before returning to the busyness of your day. Give yourself permission to breathe, drink some water, and notice how you feel.
Reiki is not about rushing or forcing change. It is about creating a peaceful space where you can reconnect with yourself and allow your body, mind, and spirit a moment of rest.
It is my hope that when you leave, you carry with you even a little of the peace that Reiki has brought into my own life.
You are welcome here.
You are worthy of taking a moment for yourself.
And it would be my honor to share Reiki with you.
Reiki is a complementary wellness practice and is not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure medical conditions or replace professional medical care.

What I Do

My treatments are done as chair treatments. The client is fully clothed and sitting in a chair. My hands hover in the auric field.

This balances your energy for a more relaxed and clam day. The number of treatments is up to the client and the practitioner. There is an intake form that needs to be filled out to help determine all of this.

Your confidentiality is of utmost importance in my Reiki practice. Your information will not be shared with anyone unless I am legally obligated to do so. You will be expected to pay for each session at the time it is held. Payment for other services such as teaching will be agreed to when they are requested.

You have the right to ask me questions about anything that happens in our work together. You are free to terminate our work together at any time.

I never engage in sexual intimacies with clients or former clients and avoid social and business relationships. Our work together will be most effective when kept free from possible outside entanglements.

Normally, you will be the one who decides when our work together will end, but there are three exceptions to this. If I determine that I am unable, for any reason, to provide you with the services you are requesting at a high professional standard, I will inform you of this decision and refer you to another practitioner who may better meet your needs. Second, if you verbally or physically threaten or harass me, my office, or my family, I reserve the right to terminate you from treatment immediately and unilaterally. Third, I reserve the right to refuse or terminate a session if you or anyone in the session is suspected of being under the influence of a mood-altering substance. You will be responsible and charged for full payment of the normal fee.

About Peggy

I am a very grateful woman. I am alive today because of gifts I was given from the universe. When I was younger, I made a promise to Spirit that, if he allowed me to stay alive to raise my children, I would find a way to return the gift. I am here today because of the gift of a liver transplant.

I am so grateful I found Reiki to return the love I was given from Spirit. This has changed my live. My transplant has allowed me to live to see my children grow into wonderful men. Now I am going to return my love to Spirit.

They say first impressions are lasting impressions. When I was in a hospital bed at the age of 12. I went into cardiac arrest. When I came back the nurse was so nasty, I vowed then that I would find a way to help people love themselves and have a calmer more productive life.

I have had a few other traumatic things happen in my life. I went through waiting for a liver transplant with two small toddlers. I went through my children being taken from me after my transplant.

This all brought me to my Reiki practice which has allowed me to calm myself. It allows me to see my life as a wonderful place to be. I wish to show people what I learned along the way.
